The MUSEE du LOUVRE <3
MONA LISA <3 Leonardo da Vinci began painting the Mona Lisa in 1503 or 1504 in Florence, Italy. According to Leonardo’s contemporary,Giorgio Vasari, “…after he had lingered over it four years, left it unfinished….” Leonardo, later in his life, is said to have regretted “never having completed a single work”. On his death the painting was inherited, among other works, by his pupil and assistant Salai. It has resided at the PALACE of FONTAINEBLEAU with King Francois, PALACE of VERSAILLES with Louis XIV, TUILERIES PALACE in the bedroon of Napoleon & the LOUVRE after the FRENCH REVOLUTION. wikipedia :))
“SIMPLICITY is the ULTIMATE sophistication” Leonardo da Vinci
The MONA LISA smaller than I imagined was encircled by PAPARAZZI pushing to get a closer view!! Her SMILE contagious as she focused on the crowd.
